10 years - wowBigGrin

Tell me Anne, do I congratulate you on being a member of NRAS for 10 years or coping with RA for the same length of time?
I think possibly it's all the difficulties of ten years struggle that should get the loudest round of applause.ThumpUp

Well done.Smile

Thanks Gogs and NRAS.
I have had the beast since 1982. The treatments have changed immeasurably and although still scary at least
those of us who tried and tested them are able to wear the teeshirt!!
Where would we be without Ailsa's forethought.

I've been certified too Anne! 10 years with NRAS and 41with RA. Couldn't agree more about the treatments - my consultant says that my joints could look very different had the new biologics been around in 1972. However, still appreciating everything life has to offer:-)

I wonder if we could have met Anne? I live on the South Coast and was at the Roadshow event in Maidstone in May.

Yes, a great big thank you to Ailsa for all her continued hard work and all at NRAS.

Liz

Dear Liz and Anne,

I am overwhelmed to be in the presence of two such important members of the community.

It must feel wonderful to be 'certified'LOL

Now that brings me to the text my son sent me last night.

'NEWS HAS JUST COME IN CAUSING IMMEASURABLE DISTURBANCE THROUGHOUT
THE HEALTH PROFESSIONS.

25% of women have been found to be taking anti-depressive medication, this means that
75% are running around untreated!'

Don't shoot the messengerBigGrin
